Summer 2023
Kitchen & Restaurant Re-build
We’ve been planning major reconstruction works to The Bunch of Grapes now for quite a few years. A little old thing called COVID decided to get in the way of that though!
We’re happy to say now though that work is due to start on a major rebuild to the kitchen and restaurant.
We’ve been waiting to announce a date for this work but unfortunately were held back as we ticked the last few boxes. We regret the short notice, but our last day with the kitchen open will be Sunday 11th June. Please be aware after the 11th June the bar will still remain open for the duration of these works.
WHY?
Our kitchen is essentially an extension built on another extension. It’s served us well for decades and decades but it’s not designed for purpose and is no longer fit to service the creativity, the number of customers and all the kitchen toys that we want – our smokery, charcoal ovens and so much more. The restaurant will all be on one level with beautiful bi-folding doors that will open up all the way along the decking. From the decking will be steps down into our brand new Cwrw Otley Brewery courtyard, sitting just outside our brand new brewery.
Can we eat?
From around, or approx etc Monday 26TH we’ll be serving from a temporary food truck – a specially designed menu featuring our burgers, great big old sandwiches, wraps and a few little surprises, as well as a few gastropub classics.
This will be available to eat in the bar and weather permitting in the brewery courtyard outside, but very much designed for takeaway too. So if you’re fancying a treat in the evening or lunch to grab and go, think of it as the best of The Bunch – to go!
Even better, this will soon be available to order online with delivery once we have set up
